Set in a world reshaped by a deadly pandemic and the mysterious birth of hybrid children - part human, part animal - Netflix's Sweet Tooth blends post-apocalyptic drama with a haunting, storybook sensibility. In early 2019, I had the opportunity to work closely with Production Designer Russell Barnes and Supervising Art Director Adam Wheatley to help establish the visual tone of the series. Initially developed as a pilot, Sweet Tooth was later greenlit by Netflix and premiered in June 2021. My role as Concept Artist focused on defining key environments and moments in the pilot episode, including Gus and his father’s forest home and the tense encounter at the boundary fence. Described as "Bambi meets Mad Max", the series aimed for a fairytale aesthetic - whimsical, eerie, and emotionally grounded. This section showcases a selection of the digital paintings I created during that time, including The Cabin, Gus and the Deer, The Cabin Kitchen, and Encounter at the Fence.
