Tidelands

Set in the mysterious fishing village of Orphelin Bay, Netflix’s Tidelands follows a former criminal who returns home and uncovers the town’s dark secrets, including the existence of the Tidelanders - a group of dangerous half-siren, half-human beings. As a Concept Artist on the series, I collaborated closely with Production Designer Matt Putland and Art Director Tuesday Stone to help establish the visual identity of the Tidelander settlement. My work focused on capturing the tone and mythology of their world through a series of digital narrative paintings, including Adrielle Cuthbert’s House, The Ceremony, and The Great Hall. These pieces aimed to reflect the show's unique blend of supernatural elements and coastal Australian settings.
