The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart is a visually rich Australian miniseries created by Sarah Lambert and based on the novel by Holly Ringland. Directed by Glendyn Ivin and released by Amazon Studios in 2023, the story follows Alice (Alyla Browne and Alycia Debnam-Carey), a young girl orphaned by tragedy and taken in by her estranged grandmother (Sigourney Weaver), who runs Thornfield, a flower nursery that doubles as a refuge for women escaping domestic abuse. As Concept Artist, I worked closely with Production Designer Melinda Doring to visualise key environments including the Thornfield property, abandoned greenhouse, and the symbolic June tree sculpture. I also developed concept designs for Mia Tukurta National Park, including the crater and Heart Garden, a landscape charged with emotional and narrative significance. Additionally, I designed the cover for The Thornfield Language of Flowers book. These elements helped shape a world where memory, grief, and healing are embedded in the natural environment.
